It waits until an action has been completed before moving to the next step and can repeat or rephrase prompts when required.Semi-Automatic Operation with Quick ShockThe HS1 automatically analyses the patient's heart rhythm and determines whether a shock is required.When a shock is advised, the AED charges and instructs the rescuer to press the flashing orange shock button. Philips Quick Shock technology means the HS1 is typically ready to deliver a shock within 8 seconds after the end of a CPR interval.Adult and Paediatric TreatmentThe HS1 uses an Adult SMART Pads cartridge for adult treatment.For infants and children under 8 years old or weighing less than 25 kg, an Infant/Child SMART Pads cartridge is available separately.
